What you get
A freight decision — not just a truck.
A freight decision is the right call on how your load should actually move — based on what you're shipping, the details of the load, what capacity is doing, and your timing. The wrong mode or wrong equipment costs you money and risk before the truck ever rolls.
I look at the commodity, the lane, and the clock, then make the call: the right mode, the right carrier, priced right — and I own it to delivery.
Here's the difference
Filling the order vs. making the call.
You ask for volume LTL. Most brokers just go quote volume LTL. I look at your freight and see pallets that'll get hub-loaded, broken down, and reloaded four or five times — every touch a chance for damage and delay. So I make the call: a dedicated box truck, direct, one set of hands. Faster transit, often a better price, and your freight never sits in a hub.
Not always the answer — sometimes LTL is genuinely right. The difference is I check the load before I quote it.
Shipper-side clarity
You'll know what I know about your load.
Most freight runs on what you aren't told: the margin you can't see, the problem that surfaces after it's too late. I run it the other way — the real read on pricing, the honest call on how your freight should move, and a heads up the moment something shifts.
Clarity isn't something you should need an outside advisor to get. You should get it from the person moving your freight.
Communication
You won't have to chase me for a status.
Good news or bad, you hear it from me first — before it's a problem on your end. And I don't just hand you the problem; I bring the fix already in motion.
Most brokers go quiet when a load goes sideways. I get ahead of it and call you on the front side, with options and a heads up — not silence.
Always on
I'm checking your freight on a Sunday night.
At 5 PM on a Sunday I'm making sure your LTL is sitting where it's supposed to be. Call, email, or text — you get a response, because I live and breathe this.
If you need someone to actually care about your freight, that's me.
Old-school freight, modern tools
A quote back in minutes — not an afternoon.
AI can make a freight quote look clean, fast, and confident — whether or not it's actually right. I use modern tools to read the market in minutes instead of an afternoon of phone calls: rates, capacity, lane trends.
Then experience decides whether to trust the number. The tools give me the read; the judgment is mine, and the risk on your load is mine to carry. You get the speed and a sanity check.
Why Joseph
What I proved at RXO — now independent.
I spent years brokering freight across dry van, reefer, flatbed, LTL, intermodal, and expedited. At RXO I ranked top 5 in my branch and top 25 companywide, moving 150-plus loads a month across 100-plus active customers. Before freight, two decades in legal affairs and business development taught me to think critically, solve problems fast, and see around corners. Few agents bring both the freight reps and that analytical muscle. I took that skill independent — and it shows up for you as sharper pricing, clean paperwork, and problems solved before they reach your dock.
Clear logic, straight talk, freight that's handled.
Who you're calling
Talk to an owner. Every time.
Joseph Garcia Freight isn't a company with a call center — it's me. When you reach out, you get an owner on the line, not a rep reading a script who's gone in six months.
My wife and business partner, Melika Garcia-Shirin, left her career to go all-in on this with me — so there's always someone who actually owns the outcome answering. Our name is on every load, and we treat it that way.
"You had a way of making complicated things simple. Efficient."
How it works
Simple enough to start today.
Send me the shipment.
Pickup, destination, and what you're moving. That's enough to start.
I make the call and cover it.
Right mode, right carrier, priced right — vetted and booked.
It's handled to delivery.
I stay on it, communicate on the front side, and own it dock to dock.
Questions
Before you send the first load.
What does it cost to get a quote?
Nothing. Send me a lane and I'll price it straight. If you're not ready to move a load, tell me how you ship now and I'll tell you where I'd tighten it — no obligation.
What kinds of freight do you move?
Dry van, reefer, flatbed, LTL, volume LTL, box truck, intermodal, and expedited. If I'm not the right fit for a load, I'll tell you that too.
Do you only work in Oregon?
No. I move freight nationwide. Wherever the lane runs, I can quote and cover it.
I already have a broker. Why switch?
You don't have to. Send me one lane and compare — the price, the communication, and whether your load comes back as a problem. Try me once and judge it on the result.

I'll quote it straight. If handing me a load isn't where you're at yet, tell me how you ship now and I'll give you an honest read on where I'd tighten it — no obligation, no pressure.
